2017 Chevrolet LOW CAB Forward 4500 recalls
Electrical system: wiring
NHTSA campaign 19V647000 · reported September 9, 2019 · Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. · 16,766 vehicles potentially affected
The problem
Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2017-2019 N-GAS HD and Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 3500 and 4500 vehicles and 2018-2019 Isuzu FTR and Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 6500XD vehicles. The power supply bolt in the relay box may not have been properly tightened during harness production at the supplier. This may lead to melting of the power wire and/or a loss of electrical power to the vehicle, which can lead to a stall.
The risk
A stall can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix
Isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the relay box power supply bolt, tightening it as necessary. If the harness or relay box is found to be damaged, it will be replaced or repaired, free of charge. The recall began October 24, 2019. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V1905.

NHTSA campaign 17V726000 · reported November 14, 2017 · Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. · 69,138 vehicles potentially affected
The problem
Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2011-2017 Isuzu NPR, 2008 NPR HD and NPR-HD Gas, 2011-2018 NPR HD and NRR, 2015-2018 NPR XD, 2012-2018 NQR, 2012-2017 NPR Gas and NPR-HD Gas, 2016-2017 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 3500 HD, 3500 and 4500 and 2017-2018 Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 4500 HD, 4500 XD, 5500 HD and 5500 XD vehicles, equipped with certain Walter Kidde Plastic-Handle Fire Extinguishers, models FC10 and FC110. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable.
The risk

The fix

Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638 or Walter Kidde customer service at 1-855-262-3540 or they may also visit www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" to order replacement fire extinguishers free of charge.
