THIS 2006 CROSSFIRE ROADSTER IS GARAGE KEPT. THE CAR WAS PARKED, WHEN THE GLASS SEPARATED ON THREE SIDES FROM THE CLOTH CONVERTIBLE TOP. FAILURE OF THE REAR WINDOW GLASS APPEARS TO BE DUE TO LACK OF ATTACHMENT, OTHER THAN ADHESIVE GLUE. THE CLOTH CONVERTIBLE TOP IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THIS POSES A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY…
REAR GLASS OF THE CONVERTIBLE TOP FALLING OUT, ONLY BEING HELD BY THE WINDOW DEFROSTER WIRES. THE ADHESIVE IN MANUFACTURING GAVE WAY. THE CAR IS ALWAYS GARAGED AND JUST OVER 15K MILES
REAR GLASS FELL OFF TOP WHILE DRIVING. COMPLETELY SEPARATED. ONLY 55,000 MILES ON CAR AND HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT.
REAR GLASS IN CONVERTIBLE TOP HAS SEPARATED FROM THE FABRIC. VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 30,000 MILES AND IS GARAGE KEPT. VEHICLE IS NOT ABUSED AND TOP HAS ONLY BEEN RETRACTED A TOTAL OF APPROXIMATELY 15 TIMES SO IT CAN NOT EVEN BE ATTRIBUTED TO "NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR". THIS SEEMS TO ME TO BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
