Recent Honda recalls

Tires: temporary/emergency spare tire

NHTSA campaign 26V663000 · reported October 8, 2026 · Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) · 4,804 vehicles potentially affected

The problem
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2026 CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and 2025 CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles that were previously remedied under NHTSA recall number 26V366. When using the tire repair kit, pressure may build within the sealant bottle, causing the bottle cap to detach.
The risk
A detached bottle cap can become a projectile and strike the user or others nearby, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix
Dealers will inspect and replace the tire repair kit nozzle, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 16, 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is PPW. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 17, 2026. Vehicles previously repaired under recall 26V366 will need to have the new remedy completed.

Fuel system, gasoline: delivery, fuel pump

NHTSA campaign 26V633000 · reported October 1, 2026 · Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) · 4,206 vehicles potentially affected

The problem
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023-2025 VT1300CX and 2024-2025 VT750 motorcycles. The fuel pump may malfunction due to a manufacturing defect.
The risk
Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed November 27, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in January 2027. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's numbers for this recall are KU9, KV0, and KV1. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 8, 2026.
