The problem
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017 Honda VT1300CX Fury motorcycles and 2010 and 2016 Honda VT1300CX Fury motorcycles that received a replacement fuel tank. The fuel tank may be missing welds around the mounting bracket.
The risk
If the welds are missing, the mounting bracket can separate from the tank, allowing fuel to leak and increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.
The fix
Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel tank welds and, as necessary, replace the fuel tank, free of charge. The recall began December 14, 2017. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138.

STARTER FAILS WHEN ITS HOT. IT WILL START TO TURN THEN JUST CLICKS. HAVE TO KEEP IT PLUGGED IN TO THE CHARGER. THE ITS OK TILL IT RUNS DOW THE BATTERY. I RESEARCHED ONLINE AND FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS,AND EVEN THAT HONDA HAS CHANGED THE PART NUMBER FOR REPLACEMENT, AND IT'S 300.00. THEY SHOULD RECALL THESE STARTERS.
